I’m a tea-sipping, dog-cuddling, home decor-obsessed mom of two incredible kids—a fiercely independent 14-year-old daughter who’s navigating her teenage years with style and sass, and a 9-year-old son who brings endless energy, curiosity, and a whole lot of sports gear into our lives. They keep me grounded, challenged, and always reaching for that extra cup of tea.
My Story
I didn’t set out to become a homebody, but somewhere between motherhood, chasing dreams, and finding myself, I realized that home is where I truly thrive. The chaos, the coziness, and yes—even the pile of laundry mocking me from the corner—are part of the life I love.
While I adore being at home, it doesn’t mean life is slow or predictable. Some days feel like pure survival mode, especially with our busy family schedule. My son is deep into sports—hockey, ball hockey, and baseball—which means most evenings and weekends are spent at the rink, on the field, or racing from one game to the next. It’s loud, it’s muddy, it’s nonstop—and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

My Favorite Things
- My idea of a wild Friday night? A cup of tea, a warm blanket, and binge-watching my favourite shows. (Friends is still my number one.)

- If my husband sees me holding a tape measure or paintbrush, he knows something’s about to change—and yes, he panics just a little.
- I’m that mom who unapologetically skips the school event sometimes to save her sanity.
- My weekends often smell like hockey gear and grass stains.

- I’m completely obsessed with tea—there’s almost always a mug or a Tim’s cup in my hand.
- I’m an introvert—weird, I know, considering I’m blogging about my life. But here we are, embracing the irony!
- A daydreamer at its finest—I’m constantly lost in thoughts, planning, imagining, and dreaming up my next big idea.
